Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions, along with your official order and payment of order constitute a Contract of Sale between the customer and Alpha Food Packaging.

Privacy Statement

Information about how we safeguard our customer’s private details can be found within our Privacy Policy and our Security Policy.

Placing an Order

Orders can be accepted by customers who have registered with Alpha Food Packaging online and who have a registered customer email and password.

Orders can also be accepted by telephone, fax or in person via an Alpha Food Packaging customer service or sales representative.

Orders containing specific Delivery Instructions will be delivered in accordance with those instructions to the best of the transport company’s ability.

Placing an order with Alpha Food Packaging is simply done by logging in online at, selecting your products, adding them to your shopping cart and paying by one of the prescribed payment methods. Orders can also be placed via alternative means as described above.

Once the order process is complete, an email confirming the order details will be sent to the requested email address. Orders lodged via telephone or in person will receive a confirmation along with their respective order number. Orders communicated by fax will receive a return fax confirmation along with their respective order number.

Minimum Order Value

There is no minimum order required for processing orders online. Shipping fees are not included in the minimum order value.

Recognised forms of payment

Alpha Food Packaging accepts payment via Visa Card, Master Card, PayPal, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and bank cheques only.

Payment processing will begin as soon as Alpha Food Packaging has received all relevant order information.

The processing of payment for orders placed on a weekend or public holiday will commence on the next business day.

Credit card payments will only be accepted once the purchaser has confirmed and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of sale; and that they are the / an authorised person to use the Credit Card for which details have been provided for the purpose of the order.

EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and Bank Cheque payments will only be accepted once the purchaser has confirmed and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of sale online. An email will be sent confirming the order has been placed and that it is pending payment.

Payments by EFT or Cheque require 2 to 3 business days for funds to be cleared into our account. Once cleared, the order will be processed.

Upon clearance of all details, Alpha Food Packaging will email, fax or post (whichever is applicable) a tax invoice which is to be used for proof of purchase.

Changing or cancelling an order

Any changes or cancellations to an order must be immediately communicated to one of our customer service representatives in detail via email to: or

Orders are dispatched quickly from our warehouse in an effort to deliver orders within the specified time frames. Once an order has been dispatched from our warehouse, we are unable to change or cancel an order.

Cancellation or amendment of product orders where the balance results in a credit to the customer will be issued as a Credit Voucher to be used towards the next purchase with Alpha Food Packaging.

We are unable to cancel and/or refund orders within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. This means a cancellation of your order must be communicated to us via email at least 24 hours (1 business day) before your order is dispatched from one of our warehouses.

Returns & Refunds Policy

This section is to be read in conjunction with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

In addition to our Returns policy, minor exterior carton damage does not constitute a claim if the product within the carton is in sound condition.

Our returns policy does not cover products that are faulty due to mistreatment, poor maintenance, tampering or improper use.


The Goods and Services Tax (GST) in Australia is a Value Added Tax on the supply of goods and services in Australia. It was introduced by the Federal Government from the 1st of July 2000 and is levied at a rate of 10% on most goods and services apart from GST exempt items, and input taxed goods and services.

Unless otherwise specified, all prices listed or quoted by Alpha Food Packaging are exclusive of GST.

The GST component relating to an order will be clearly indicated upon checkout and on the Tax Invoice.


All prices listed on the Alpha Food Packaging website, in quotes, invoices or any other documentation issued by Alpha Food Packaging is in Australian dollars.

Alpha Food Packaging makes every effort in ensuring the colours shown on the Alpha Food Packaging website accurately match the products sold by Alpha Food Packaging. However, there may be some subtle differences in actual colour due to differences in computer systems and colour monitors. As such Alpha Food Packaging cannot guarantee that the individual’s monitor display will give a true representation of product colours.

The money back guarantee policy offered by Alpha Food Packaging ensures that product quality is maintained at a high standard for all customers and should be read in conjunction with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Whilst endeavouring to provide accurate and up to date information, typographical errors and inaccuracies may occur in rare instances. Alpha Food Packaging reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to amend or update information or pictures at any time without prior notice. Possible changes may include but are not limited to product type, price, photographic depiction and availability.

Accounts Receivable

With regards to customers on trading terms,futile attempts in recovering overdue invoices / accounts will be referred to a debt collection agency. All costs relating to the collection process both from Alpha Food Packaging and the appointed debt collection agency will be payable by the customer / account holder who is in arrears.

The Australian owned website of Alpha Food Packaging or any section of the Alpha Food Packaging website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, plagiarised or otherwise exploited for any commercial purposes that is not expressly permitted by Alpha Food Packaging.
